I LIVE for movies like this ! ♡ This kind of movies are the reason I love Bollywood with all my heart. 

The movie has some beautiful places and was beautifully directed. It is quite long (almost 3 hours long) but I couldn't turn away from the screen. 

The songs were really groovy, they make you want to dance and were accompanied by great choreographies. It makes the songs more entertaining and give a real meaning to all of it. I personally loved the small dance battle scene ! It was a great way to show Katrina's amazing talent when it comes to dancing. She is one the best dancers of Bollywood. The only thing lacking in her dancing is definitely the expressions. She needs more presence, more soul : she isn't dancing in front of her mirror for her own passion, but to the world to see. 

The casting is the reason why I didn't put a 10/10. Obviously King Khan never disappoint us and was outstanding in thie movie, as usual. I could go on and on but I think by now we all know how much I respect him. He is simply amazing and never fails nor disappoint. This is the kind of movie that made people love him, his most successful ones. Katrina is not a bad actress in my opinion, but I think she truly belongs in action movies, not in romantic movies.

It's the second one I watched from her, after Baar Baar Dekho, and she just doesn't touch me. It makes me very frustrated because I wanted to love this movie even more than I do, but her performance was just flat. Her indolent personality just doesn't fit the character. Meera is supposed to be this soft yet crazy unforgettable woman, and Katrina is not convincing me.  She is an amazing dancer and I think she does a great job in action movies, just not romantic movies. For example, Rani Mukerjhee would have been a wonderful Meera. 

Now, let's talk about Anushka Sharma ! Her character kind of annoyed me at some time, because she kept trying to flirt with Samar but other than that, her performance was incredible. She has so much energy and has a really bubbly personality, very likable and I enjoyed watching her ! She definitely killed it and she reminded me a lot of times of Ranveer Singh ! They both have this incredible energy, especially when it comes to dancing.

Jab tak hai jaan is a beautiful love story, that I loved watching. In my opinion, everyone has to watch it at least one time. It has very rooted standards about love and religion, which you may or may not agree with, but you can't deny how beautiful the message of the movie is. 

I really believe in true love and patience. I believe in fighting for love and choosing someone. So this movie makes perfect sense to me. The religious side only added beauty to the love story. I am really sad I couldn't feel any chemistry between Katrina and SRK, but the story is beautiful. I love love stories and I will never get bored of them. They can seem stupid, silly and unrealistic but I think they give us an ideal, an inspiration to love like in Bollywood movies !
