Looks like train scenes will always find their way back to my heart.. ! I just cannot help it, I will always start sobbing and my heart simply feels full with those scenes. I have been trying to watch this movie for a year now, and everytime something got on my way. I sincerely believe that it was only because I wasn't ready to watch it. 

This movie means a lot to me. Rani and Vivek made a really good on-screen pair, they share a great chemistry and I loved their little home. In terms of performances, nothing to say ! Obviously Vivek and Rani are amazing actors, and they have proven it in the past. Also, I loved Shahrukh's little appearance, it always warms my heart to see him ! 

I thought the songs were quite boring, I actually skipped a few of them -which never happens- but some of them were okay. I don't think I will listen to any of them again though. 

The storyline was simply beautiful and I really enjoyed watching Aditiya and Suhani's love story start and face life's challenges. The movie didn't really insist on the beginning of their relationship, which I think is a pity, because you don't really get to see their feelings grow for each other. 

The message of the movie is very relevant, and I find it very exciting that the topic of eloping has been brought up in the movie. It takes a lot of courage and sacrifice, but it is also the ultimate proof of commitement. However, they were both young and didn't really know what they were getting into, and neither of them really know how to handle things. For that, I thought the movie was very realistic and it also gave hope, that with communication, understanding and compromises, you can make a marriage successful. The bond between Adi and Suhani is definitely strong, and it was beautiful watching them fight for their love the way they did.

If you have watched this movie and liked it, you should also watch Chalte Chalte, which reminds me a lot of Saathiya. The cast will look familiar to you because it is Rani herself in the main role paired with the King of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan !
