I am going to be completely transparent here. I was NOT looking forward to watching this ! I have my own point of view concerning nepotism in Bollywood and that played a huge part in my judgement. I did not believe this would be a good movie. Turns out it is MUCH more than that, Dhadak is not only good, it's great and with a valuable message. This is not just the typical love story you could expect.

Ishaan is a mind-blowing actor. So much that it is hard to believe it's actually his first movie. You can spot Shahid's ressemblance in his smile, and he is definitely made to be a star. This movie is only the beginning for him but I have a feeling his character Madhu in Dhadak will mark people for a long time. 

Janhvi is outrageously beautiful and she has some talent to. For a newbie, she was great ! There were only small parts of the movie were she needed more work, other than she was mind-blowing too. 

The songs are super catchy, melodious for some but beautiful for all of them. The story is so good, there was no way I could stop watching once I started. I rewinded many scenes because they were that good ! I think Dhadak is a movie I will definitely watch again ! 

Note : Dhadak is a remake of Sairat.
