"Two friends are searching for their long lost companion. They revisit their college days and recall the memories of their friend who inspired them to think differently, even as the rest of the world called them "idiots"."

3 idiots had a really good reception at its release (8,4 on imdb, which is impressive), and I totally understand why. The movie has a perfect mix of comedy and drama, and made me cry and laugh at the same time. Aamir Khan was absolutely incredible in this movie, I was blown away by his acting. The two other main actors were really good too, but Aamir definitely stood out. Kareena was excellent, and beautiful. 

The story is so refreshing, and new. I thought the movie was quite too long, some scenes should have been shorter, it felt like they were beating aroung the bush for many scenes, especially in the beginning of the movie, which is a bad aspect, it bores the spectator and loses its attention. 

I enjoyed following their adventures, the movie is well directed, and there are no major problems of consistency. The songs are okay, but don't play a main part in the movie, as it is more centered around the plot. I think everyone should watch 3 idiots at least once, because it takes you to a different world, and you will enjoy the ride. It shows a different vision of the world of what we are used to, and the message is lovely, though quite idealistic in some points.
