I came across this movie by chance, and I feel very, very lucky. It was a pleasure watching a refreshing movie, with less-known actors, etc. It is always a little scary when you know nothing about the movie (directors, actors..) because you don't know what you are about to watch, especially since Bollywood movies are quite long. I feel like Mod is a treasure, that I have been blessed to find ! It left me upside down, torn apart, really.

The actors are promising (after a few research I found out that there were not new in the industry), and I can clearly see a great effort made in the production. The synopsis puts you right in the mood, and is super interesting, and also original. It was a challenging movie to make, and they have succeeded. 

The ending got me crying like a big baby (no spoilers, no worries !), and actually, even the whole movie is heart touching, and harrowing. I also found it a little bit poetic, and I personally loved the psychologic side of it. However, the ending scene was missing something very important. There is a sort of cliff-hanger, without really being one. There should have been another scene (spoiler) where we see Aranya and Abhey coming back home, two years later, with a kid, or something like that. Here, they just leave us hanging. I could feel some disconfort especially in the beginning, due to the unhealthy love between Abhey/Andy and Aranya, and that feeling was very well portrayed by Rannvijay Singh, so congratulations to him because his character was not easy to play, and he did it very well. 

This is a beautiful, yet weird love story, and a beautifully written movie, that you should definitely watch !
