This movie should be watched by everyone, from kids to elders. Darr is a three-hour long movie, starring King Khan, Juhi Chawla, Sunny Deol. Although I thought Deol's performance was indolent, SRK and Juhi did an amazing job. In fact, SRK did such a great job that his performance was more acclaimed that Deo'ls, even though he was the villain, that was the first time that a villain got more attention than the hero. No one can compete with SRK. Moreover, SRK's and Juhi's expressions are ON POINT.

The synopsis is actually false, because it makes you believe that Kiran hesitates between her admirers, and she never does. However, the movie is absolutely incredible and I loved it. I am an old fashioned girl, and I will never get bored of these endless scenes of lovers running in the meadows, and dancing for ten minutes, I love that and I crave for those scenes ! I will never get bored of SRK's fighting scenes either, because I live for these twenty minute long scenes!

Even if you're not into "old movies", you should really give it a try, because Darr is worth it. SRK's acting in Darr is just indescribable, you even forget that he is acting. Obviously if you are young and watch the movie for the first time now, you will realize that the special effects used were really not convincing (fake ORANGE blood, etc..), but honestly, I genuinely feel like it adds to the magic. I love old movies for that reason ! 

I cannot wait until I can put all my favorite Bollywood songs in my house, and listen to them all day with my children. Why am I so romantic ? Until then, here is my favorite song of the movie.
