"Poonam, a traditionally brought-up young woman, is to marry Prem, a groom chosen by her uncle. Poonam and Prem's faith and love are to be tested however, when an accident occurs and Poonam might be scarred for life."

Movies like Vivah are the reason WHY I love Bollywood. It's as simple as that ! I'm very open to any kind of movies but the ones like Vivah go straight to my heart. They represent the essence itself of my love for Bollywood. 

Vivah takes you to another world, and if you're a hopeless romantic like me, then you're going to LOVE it ! Movies like this make me nostalgic because it makes me realize that nowadays, you can't find any movie like that.. Which is so sad. I'm going to sound very old fashioned but I loved it when they left it all to the imagination, no sex scenes, no  nudity, only beautiful values. Obviously the movie is a bit exagerated but in my opinion, that's the whole charm of Bollywood. I just truly enjoy movies like Vivah, that praise beautiful and evergreen values. 

Poonam's character is absolutely incredible. There are no words to describe her ! I just love her so much. And also I want to steal her entiere closet !!! Definitely my favorite movie of Amrita right after Ishq Vishk, she has such a beautiful and innocent face, I love her so so much. She's one of my favorite actresses. She's so talented and makes everything look effortless. She really had Poonam in her skin ! I can't see anyone else than her playing her. 

Shahid was wonderful too. The first movie I watched of him was Milenge Milenge and I hated him in it, so for a long time I had a hard time liking him but I think it was his only bad movie. He has never disappointed me since, he's such a good dancer as well. 

I just really love this movie guys. Totally worth the time. I was starry-eyed after watching it. So so good, evergreen. The songs were so beautiful, I'll definitely listen to them over and over again when I have my own home and kids.

I love the ideal representation of a family they gave in the movie, I know some people hate it but for me, it's so important ! Definitely do watch this movie with your kids, friends, family, everyone !!
