Highest-grossing movie in indian history, super interesting plot, and Aamir Khan ! What more do you need ? ;)

I definitely enjoyed watching secret superstar. Insu's story is so inspiring and you will feel motivated after watching her success-story. The actors are all amazing, and I looooved Guddu, he is so cute and talented ! 

Now, there a few points I'd like to adress ! There were a few scenes where I felt quite uncomfortable. How can such a younug girl go to mumbai on her own, to meet a producer ? Let's be honest. They didn't show anything bad happening to her during her journey because that wasn't the plot, but it seems extremely dangerous to do such things. You can be successful, fight for your dreams without putting your life in danger. Am I being too paranoid ? I don't know, but I was still uncomfortable seeing a teenager in a car with a man she doesn't know, far from home. That's my point.

And how can she find so much success with only one video, in such a short period of time ? I do love the message of the movie, which is to dream, believe, and achieve your goals. However, her attitude is very unconscious and irresponsible. Success will rarely be found at the first attempt, and in my opinion it is wrong to picture it that way in the movie, it seems too easy.

I also had a bit of a hard time enjoying Insu's personality. She is not very likable. She gets so much love, support, from her mother, her brother, her friend, but I do find her a bit ungrateful and angry. I don't think she realizes how much they are here for her, and that bothered me. 

Oh, and the songs are lovely ! And finally, I would have loved having a last scene, showing her life a few months later, you know, a proper happy ending, and seeing her father paying for his sins. Overall I really liked this movie, but I wish it was longer, it has a lot of unexploited potential.
