Rockstar was a blockbuster when it released, hence I was excited to watch it. Undoubtely Ranbir was beyond amazing in this movie. I've said it before but he's one of the finest actors of this generation. However... Nargis Fakhri ? What was this performance ? She was so cringe-worthy I genuinely asked myself how she even got the role in the first place? Yes, she is very beautiful but where are her acting skills ? It frustrated me, because it ruined the whole vibe for me.

The leading actress not doing a good job is frustrating. How did she get the role ? I seriously ask myself. No expression, making cringe-worthy faces all the time, I spent more time laughing than crying. It was just awkard to be honest.. I'm very disappointed and, on top of that, a strong accent while she speaks hindi. I mean, it frustrates me this much because there are SO many talented people out there, who want to make it in Bollywood but no, they will never get a role because people like Nargis are casted. How can you share the screen with Ranbir Kapoor when you can't act for shit ?

Her accent was terrible, her acting was terrible. Honestly this is a serious problem in Bollywood. Not giving a chance to people who deserve it, and instead giving main roles to people like Nargis, who is, unfortunately not the only one in this industry in the same case ! Don't get me wrong, I don't have anything against HER, I find her likable as person.

I'll end here for now. The movie was overall okay I guess. Nothing that marked me. Nothing special about it, except Ranbir's performance. The story is fine.
