KIA : KAREENA KAPOOR & KABIR (Ka) : ARJUN KAPOOR

Ki & Ka stars Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor, two actors that I admire very much. This movie follows the adventure of an original, uncomformist couple, that doesn't fit in society's standards. In fact, the "gender roles" are inverted. Kia shows to the world how successful a hardworking woman can be, thus she is a great role model. The movie shows a very realistic side of the difficulty for a woman to be taken seriously. Ka, on the other hand represents stability, home, but he is very hardworking as well. He is my favorite character in the movie, as Arjun makes him very appealing and endearing. I absolutely loved his lines about what a home is. He shows a new vision of it, and how much work you have to put in to make a place feel like a home, and not just like a house. In my opinion, Arjun was perfect for the role, as he is a very funny and easy-going person, you can just see in the scenes how comfortable, confident and fresh he is. Adding Ka's very likeable personality, and his sensitivity to Arjun's natural qualities is a great mix. Kareena fit the role perfectly as well, and the chemistry between the two actors is absolutely fantastic. 

However, the movie tends to beat around the bush sometimes, (for example, Ki and Ka's fights over Ka's job as a house-husband, the writers should have gone further/deeper than just the basic dialogue of "Are you ashamed of my job ?") 

Ki & Ka is a very refreshing movie, with a great storyline. It is a movie with a real message that I am very happy India (and the entiere world, actually) gets to hear. The acting is superb, obviously, and the movie combines comedy, romance, and a serious message at the same time.
