I know everyone loves this movie, so I wanted to give it a try. I wish I loved it as much as everyone but I just don't. It gave me some 3 idiots vibes but it was not even half good.. 

So the songs are not incredible, but I guess they are okay for a movie. I usually love Preity Zinta but I feel like her performance in this movie was just mediocre. Aamir Khan and Saif Ali Khan were really good, but Akshaye Khanna wasn't really good. 

The story about the friendship between the boys was sweet, but the love stories were just cliches and too-much. Especially Shalini and Akash's love story made me cringe really hard. You know I LOVE love stories and stuff, but their story just doesn't make any sense. 

It's a one-time watch in my opinion. If you want a really good movie in the same type, I suggest you watch 3 idiots, with Aamir Khan in the leads. I find the movie much more enjoyable and the characters are very endearing. Nothing seems forced, it smoothes naturally as the story unfolds.
